CEI's packaging test centre has been developed, in response to customer feedback, to augment the EMC and Safety testing services at our laboratory. Now, rather than having to send the product and its packaging to another laboratory on completion of EMC and Safety, CEI can perform all three under one roof.

To meet customer requirements (mainly IEC/EN 60068 or ASTM standards, but sometimes customer specific) we have a range of environmental conditioning chambers that can accommodate payloads up to 2.3m(H) x 3.3m(D) x 2.1m(W) and operate between -30 and +150 degrees Celsius.

Our vibration test fixture is a programmable sinusoidal & random vibration system.

We have recently added shock testing capability, and, to demonstrate to you our strong commitment to excellence in transport packaging testing we have commenced the process of obtaining ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) certification.
